Located at Baie Lazare, these wetlands forma n important eco system to the area as well as providing storm water management for the plateau and the adjacent Kempinski Hotel development. The project involved the civil works required to improve storage capacity, link enclaved sections of the wetlands, manage wetland levels through the use of drop board weirs, and to provide a dedicated sea outfall that can be opened when required.
